Whether it is hatha, wall ropes or prenatal yoga, Gabby’s classes are a challenging invitation to dig deeper into your yoga practice and meet yourself on the mat. Her grounded approach to teaching is informed by years of studying yoga alignment principles and the biomechanics of movement. Her intelligent sequencing offers students a comprehensive foundation upon which advanced postures are practiced safely with sustainability and growth in mind. Increasing mobility with structural stability and strength are the drivers for every pose and you can expect to apply this to inversions, arm balancing, back bending, forward bends, twists and supine work. Restorative postures and pranayama are integrated to heighten awareness of the subtle body of breath and create relationship with the delicate art of surrender. She cares deeply about giving students the tools and knowledge to do the poses correctly and build the awareness to apply and refine that knowledge so their yoga practice is always the practice of self-care and empowerment.
Born out of the B.K.S Iyengar lineage of yoga, yoga wall ropes offer a nuanced way of practicing yoga to refine your yoga poses and heighten your awareness of both subtle and basic alignment. But even more than that they are fun! Hanging, flying and discovering new insights in your yoga poses creates an engaging and interactive learning environment to evolve your yoga practice and apply to other classes.
